Shamrock Bookcase
From a quick sketch to the living room.
Drawn up with a client at a pub, this open bookcase features a shamrock pierced through its hand-carved crest rail. The shelves are joined with sliding dovetails, so the case is built for everyday use.
A three-step finish, built up in multiple coats, gives a dimensional look that brings the grain forward and reveals more character as it ages.
